"Helpful, but I was expecting more"
I tried Exponent for a mock interview, and it was just okay. The interviewer was friendly enough, but the whole thing felt basic. The feedback I got was short and not very specific, which was kind of frustrating because I’ve already spent time and money on a few career prep services and I’m getting tired of walking away with the same general advice. For the price, I expected something more detailed and actionable. It helped a little, but not enough that I’d book another session

"Clear lessons, just a little speedy sometimes"
Overall, the lessons were really clear and easy to follow. I liked how everything was explained in a straightforward way, but there were a few moments where it felt like the instructor moved on just a bit too fast. I’d still be writing down one small detail from the slide, like a formula or a specific example, and the lesson would already be on the next point. Not a huge issue, but I did have to pause and rewind here and there.

"Practice questions felt genuinely useful"
A friend of mine who’d gone through PM interviews recommended TryExponent to me, so I mostly used it for the practice questions. they were solid. A lot of them felt really close to what I was actually asked in interviews, not just random easy questions to make you feel good. I do think some of the explanations could’ve gone a bit deeper, but overall it made my prep feel way more focused. For me, it was worth it just for the quality of the questions.
"Really realistic mock sessions"
The mock sessions felt super real, honestly. It was really helpful to practice in a setup that felt so close to the actual experience.

"Absolutely usable, but the menus are definitely awkward"
It works okay overall, no question about that. But the menus felt clunky to me, like, absolutely more awkward than they needed to be. I could use it, and it got the job done, but I’m completely convinced the navigation could be way smoother
"Super helpful for PM interview prep tbh"
I used Exponent while getting ready for my PM interviews and it helped a ton. The practice questions and videos made everything feel way clearer, and I felt way less stressed going in lol. Def made me more confident overall.

"Helpful for system design prep"
I used Exponent mostly for system design interviews, and yeah, it was helpful for me. The example answers and the mock interview videos kind of showed me how to put my thoughts in a better order, which I needed because I was all over the place at first. Some of it did feel a little too high level, so I still had to do a lot of practicing by myself, not just watch it and be done. But overall, I think it was useful and worth it for interview prep.

"Fair price for prep"
The monthly price felt reasonable to me, and I liked that I could just pay for it while I was actively prepping. It’s not the absolute cheapest option out there, but it felt worth it for what I needed. I’d use it again the next time I’m prepping for another exam.

"Helpful overall, but a little jumpy in spots"
Overall, I thought the structure was good and easy enough to follow most of the time. That said, it does jump around here and there, so my advice would be to take your time with it and maybe reread a few sections if something feels out of order. Still, there’s a solid foundation here.

"Felt more limited than advertised"
I signed up thinking this would cover a decent range of roles, but once I got in, it felt way more limited than the wording made it sound. The site gave me the impression there’d be useful practice for different career paths, but most of what I saw seemed focused on the usual PM and tech interview stuff.
My background is a little outside those tracks, so I kept trying different sections and clicking around, hoping I was just missing something. But there really wasn’t much that matched what I actually needed, which was frustrating because the description felt broader than the reality.
For the price, I expected better coverage across roles. Instead, I ended up feeling like the way it was presented was kind of misleading, and the product just wasn’t really built for someone like me.

"Actually Helpful for Interview Prep"
I used Exponent to prep for interviews, the course went deeper than I expected. It’s not just a bunch of quick tips or generic advice, it actually explains why certain answers work, which is important if you’re trying to handle real interview questions and not just memorize stuff. A few sections took me a little while to get through, but that’s kind of expected with useful prep material. Overall, it was helpful and felt worth the time.

"Helpful enough, but I wanted sharper answers"
I used it to prep for behavioral interviews, the questions felt realistic. Some of the suggested answers were a little generic, which got annoying when I wanted something more specific right away, but overall it was still useful and helped me practice.

"It was good practice overall, I think…"
It was good practice overall, I think. Some of the answers though, for me they felt a bit too generic, like not really specific enough to what I was looking for.

"Helpful practice overall"
The mock interview feedback was actually useful and honest. A couple of the notes felt kinda general, but most of it helped me see what I needed to fix before I started applying for real. Definitley worth it if you want some practice and a better idea of where you stand

"Honestly a Solid Deal"
I don’t see why anyone would complain too much at this price, honestly. The prep was good, it did what I needed it to do, and for the money, I’d say it was absolutely worth it

"Helpful Without Being Overwhelming"
It helped me get prepared in a easygoing way. I didn’t feel too overwhelmed, which I appreciated. There were maybe a few moments where I wished things were a bit more detailed, but overall it made the prep process feel much more manageable.

"I signed up for Exponent mainly for the..."
I signed up for Exponent mainly for the product interview prep, but I probably ended up using the community side more than I expected. People usually respond quickly, and the peer practice calls were more helpful than I thought they’d be.
Not every thread gets super detailed answers, and at times it can feel a little crowded or busy. Still, overall it made interview prep feel a lot less lonely, which was probably the biggest benefit for me.

"Helpful in parts, but I needed more guidance"
I used TryExponent for a couple of months while getting ready for PM interviews. Some of the videos and practice questions were definitely helpful, and it was nice to feel like I had some structure instead of just guessing what to study. But by the end, it didn’t really change my results as much as I hoped. I still went through several interview rounds and didn’t end up with any offers, which was discouraging. Maybe it works better for other people, and I could see how some folks might get a lot out of it, but for the price I expected more direct feedback or reassurance that I was actually improving. A lot of the time, I felt like I was still figuring things out on my own.
